Hey folks,
Thanks for all of the suggestions. In the end, I went with Dixie Chick, which is looking great. I can see myself getting quite a few more in the future - those suggestions are all great!
Thanks again,
Anna

Small Hosta Suggestion Please
Can anyone recommend a small hosta to go in a pot with a dragon tails and a blue chip? I am envisioning something like a small version of the silver shadow - pointed, darker green leaves with a bit of shine (I thought this would contrast well with the others). Any suggestions appreciated! I have bee...

Re: Hosta Id
Hey Folks, Further to my query last year - I went to the store where I bought this plant last year, and they had in a new bunch of the same plant, but this time they were all labelled 'Ground Master'. So I'm pretty sure that's what this one is, as suggested by Hosta Designer. Thanks again for all th...

Re: Hosta Id
Hi again,
I bought it in a UK diy store, they tend to have different plants at different times, but never anything too unusual. I suspect they buy in in bulk from different growers, so i expect the mislabelling occurred before they got it.
here's a picture of the possible fungus:

Re: Hosta Id
I'll try and get a photo of the dots tonight - I think they are a fungus so I have been liberally spraying with fungus killer!

Re: Hosta Id
Further to my last e-mail, could it be a 'Ginko Craig'?
Thanks!

Hosta Id
Hey folks,
Does anyone recognise this hosta? I bought it a while ago from a local diy store - it was labelled as gold standard, which it obviously isn't.
I'm aware it's a bit ill looking - but I really liked it so picked it up anyway!
Thanks,
Anna

Re: Twisted over leaves...
Hi Chris, Thanks for that info. I haven't been doing any spraying, but perhaps my neighbours have, although I have a very narrow garden with high walls, and the hosta is fairly sheltered, so I'm quite surprised it would have reached the plant. Definately the most likely explanation though! The only ...

Twisted over leaves...
Hey follks, I hope someone can help me with this odd problem! I noticed that several of the leaves on one of my hostas (possibly minuteman) have totally turned over so that the underside of the leaf, not the top, is showing. It looks very bizarre! I have checked the stems and they don't appear to be...

Re: Silver Scrolls Question
Thanks for the response chris, I agree about the advertising, but this one was definately the right colour for most of last year! It seems happy enough other than the whole colour thing, it's just a bit disheartening that the new leaves seem to be coming through the right colour, then suddenly going...

Silver Scrolls Question
Hi, I hope I am not repeating a previous question - I have tried searching the forum. I have a heuchera silver scrolls which i bought last year. it is growing well, but unfortunately it has turned very green rather than the red and silver it is meant to be. Does anyone know what would have caused th...
