When plants get too much water the leaves turn yellow, so maybe this is the situation in your case.

That's a nice looking cactus! I really like cactus plants because they are super low maintenance.

Peppers for the most part do just great in pots. You can even grow them in pots now, and if you get to free up any room in your gareden then you can transplant them later.
