Hallson Gardens

I got Stir It Up in fall of 2014, pic taken today. This one doesn't seem to photograph well at all. Maybe that's just my failing, but every pic I have looks blah. Recently moved it to this spot from beneath a lilac where it was getting too much shade.

Once again, I forgot to take many photos. Here are the few I found on my camera.

Mine looks really good this year. Definitely a favorite in the better half of my hostas. (Trying to make a top 10 or 20 list is too hard.)

I love this little hosta! So smooth and shiny! So tidily wild! I bought two, one for me and one for trade, but have kept them both (so far). The top one is in more sun.

This is a cute little plant I picked up last year for the smooth leaves. Now I wait for it to develop.

I should probably move this one if I want it to grow better or actually sparkle. It's in a rocky island bed, planted beneath a lilac tree.

Lakeside Kaleidoscope was never on my wish list, but I picked it up because it looked nice in person. It looks even better this year:

This one has been a bit slow for me, but it looks sooooo different from 2012! Yes, it's the same plant from above.

Blue Wedgwood has filled in a bit since 2014.

I gave in to peer pressure and bought Blue Ivory this spring. Here it is July 27, still looking happy:

And this is my favorite weedling. I think it came in 2011. The leaves have really developed their shape this year. It came from a bed with Journey's End and Queen of the Seas, so it's likely related to one or the other.

These I saved last year, I think they were weedlings from 2014: I think this one sprouted last spring, but I started watering it this year:

Fingerprint looks better every year. Think I finally decided to keep it.
