OK I do (bought) Garden Party. Im thinking this is it. Ive lost alot of Hostas from the winter freeze over the last 3 yrs . My old Glory faded into the garden a couple of years ago. Rascal is on the other side of the yard. I thought the same thing that it looks simular to rascal. The other 2 mentioned I dont have.

steg, yeah there is some open spots. I need to move more. In the 2nd picture (actually its in all 3 but you can see it more in 2) is Green Piecrust. Its huge! It is actually hinding 2-3 other hostas.Guardian Angel is behing it,along with Millies Memories and another smaller yellow hosta. And I think...

jgh- oh youre good. I do believe that who that is. I thought for a minute EA was in a different spot, thanks to caliloo pictures I know know that the name of that Hosta is First Frost . But Yes I did put Earth Angel there 2 yrs ago.

You know what........tomorrow I;ll take another picture and this time Ill get one close up of a leaf. This isnt a great picture and a couple of the leaves are ragged from the pup. I do have Peace.

I was at a nursery the other day and seen several Hanky Panky with one eye of the hosta a solid yellow. Is that a sport or reverting?

Fair-ring is where a hosta grows only on the outside edge and not in the center, youd know it when you seen it. I know some of them did pop upwards either in the winter or early spring and need to be re-planted but I dont get why others have fairy ringed.My Sagae the second year grew in 3 different ...

what happened to my hostas

this year they look horrible :eek: most of them either look like fairy ring or something else. In every garden almost every hosta looks this way.3 different types of soil in the gardens and the same effect in all 3 types.
