Jeanne, the only thing I've seen go in and out are swallows. But they take over ANY nest. :x Claudia, I'm in NW Indiana Jane, you see it too!!!! Isn't that freaky???? When I brought it up on the computer and zoomed in on it, I got the chills. :o I'm guestimating its about 1 foot tall.... bout ...

Nest ID

Does anyone have ANY idea what made this nest? DH just discovered it tonight. It is about 15 feet up in a pine tree. I'll be watching it to see what comes and goes. If you can.... zoom in on the hole.

Hi Jo! Good to see you too! I know, it's been awhile since I've been around. Life has been throwing me some curve balls. And just when I thought I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, I lost my Mom in a house fire March 24th. One of my sisters barely made it out, but she was unable to...

I checked my wholesale cataloges, and did not find these available, sorry. :( Yes, the seeds are quite expensive for the reds. That is why I dont offer the seedlings along with my other veggie plants, and just save them for planting in the field for the produce. I can get more for them, selling the ...

For LucyGoose

Here's mine. I THINK it is normal for the "leaves" to dry. After all... in the right conditions where it is originally grown, it grows to a tree form. When it goes a little limp, I just wet it a little, and it stiffins back up. I haven't attempted to take a cutting yet. But when I do, I'll let ya kn...

I am having a problem finding a good yellow bell that wont turn to mush, right before it ripens. Any suggestions?

I can almost smell them, Hank :D
I'm not sure which one I have. Years ago, I rescued some from my mom's that were in the way of new construction of her new porch. I LOVE them! Not only for the foliage, but the blooms. The fragrance, PLUS the beauty of them! :D
