Re: Hostas on "bad" list
I would only buy from Chris or the Naylor boyz. I just don't know enough about other online nurseries and my favorite local nursery has had virused stock. I point it out and they listen to me about them, but I suspect they still buy from the same supplier. They know me as "the hosta lady". LOL. And ...

I was thinking undulata, as well. I would have to look in the hosta library, but I didn't think Night Before Christmas had such a twist on the end.

Boxers get bored after they have done something correctly. They don't want to have to do it over and over. Liberty won 1st place in her puppy obedience class, but she hated practicing! I would get the hang dog sad eye look! I just love their personalities. He is a cutie.

Junebug is so cute! It looks like he has a "k" tattooed on his ear. We had a cream colored tabby years ago named Junior and we called him Junebug as one of his nicknames. We got a kitten a couple of months ago, too. Her name is Abby and I need to download some pics of her. Andi saw her and threatene...

Re: Introducing Gus!
I love his face! He has a nice mustache! I was in a pet store the other day and they had DNA tests for your dog! What breeds are in your pooch? or something like that was the catchline. I don't know if it works, but it would be fun to find out on some of these pups. We are dogless right now, but did...

I have gone beyond threatening! When we did our remodel, we built the two older boy's rooms with a removable wall between them! So after they are both gone to college, my plan is to remove the wall and take over! But now my daughter says she wants the oldest's room because it is bigger. It also has ...

I love my Half Magic that Andi gave to me. I need to plant something purple or blue behind it, though, because it is blending in with my dwarf lilac. Still no bloom on the seedling I got from you, Mike. I moved it last year, so we will see what it does next season.

Chris, thanks for the duct tape idea! I hate those dang prickles. They can be so tiny you don't see them, but you sure can feel them! I have gotten them from other small cactus we have in pots in the house. I wonder if it would work on those little pieces of bark that stick in your skin? That is why...

OMG! I am sure I planted another hosta in the same one my El Nino was in. Dang! I thought one year was enough. That just totally blows!

Re: New hostas we should be on the lookout for?
Maybe sun is what my Purple Haze is missing. We usually have cool springs and summers except for a couple of weeks in August. But last year it was in the 100's (F) here. Not so good for the garden without water since I was out of town for almost a month. My PH is in a pot, so I could move it into sh...

I doubt it is a virus simply because in the midst of my panic, I sent leaves to Dr. Lockhart. He couldn't find any virus present of any kind. I was relieved, but still freaked!
