I took the kids to Cincinnati and visited a couple of Museums. So, even with a total of 4 or more hours driving you know I walked, maybe not 10,000 step though. But (this is the good news/bad news) I am wearing my next size smaller jeans now :D , but the waist band rolls on itself and the pedometer ...

Yep, when adding in walking or other activity you can notice the clothes fitting looser before the scale gives rewards :D Remember, a pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat. It also burns more calories to sustain itself 8-) Put on the pedometer as soon as you can in the mornings. I ...

Great going, any movement above what you used to do is an improvement, and to be applauded :D :D I walked 4 1/2 miles this morning at the mall. Then did some shopping. I have already hit 10,000 steps and have several more hours to go 8-) . I try to average at least 70,000 steps for the week. I can't...

I don't know about my signing up to do anything on a daily basis. Work gets in the way 3 to 4 days a week. 13/ 12 hours with travel time. But, I would give support and love to get support for my walking on the other 3 or 4 days a week with I do get to exercise. I wear my pedometer and get 8,000 to 1...

Mom seems do be handling Max's loss o.k. for now. I hope she gets another cat in few months or next year when shes ready. Pets have been shown to help keep people (for lack of words on my part) "connected". A reason to get up and do something even if you only have to feed and pet the cat. Thanks for...

I feel you. I can't exercise on days I work. Luckly (?) I usually am on my feet there (yeah, lucky me). And while I am eating better, I really don't like "healthy foods". My four food groups are Bread, Meat, Chocolate and diet coke. I figure any change you get on for the healthy is better than none....

I know you weren't saying my kids were fat. But so many kids today are overweight and don't excerse. My former W.W. buddy loves to "joke" about the "fat/skinny People" That is people who weight a number they are comfortable with/wear a size they are comfortable with, but eat terrible and don't exerc...

Goodbye, Max.
Last week my Mother's cat, Max, passed. He was an 17 year old (approx) main coon cat. Started out as a normal snooty rule the roost cat. Then ten years ago my Mom had a stroke, Max grieved while Mom was in rehab. Then the following spring she had a heart attack. Two months later she was diagnosed wi...

And I walk 8,000 to 16,000 steps at work each night, aveg. 12,000. most nights. My kids are super skinny. 17 yr old D.D is 5'5" and weights 119#...

Chocolate :D :D . Chocolate is a health food. :D 8-) Unfortunately you only need about two Hershey's kisses worth a day  It protects your heart and helps even out emotions. Ice cream is just good. Try Blue Bunny fat free. A couple of the flavors are just 1 W.W. point per 1/2 cup and taste great...
