Your right Snow! The camera did focus on the seeds and the cardinal is actually sitting behind them. This is the first I've seen of the chipping sparrow this year. Last year, whenever I worked in the hosta beds, I had a pair that would come and hang out with me.

Doris, I was able to get pretty close to the jays by putting out peanuts. Once you start feeding them, they are very brave!
