Chris, I bought Fluted Fountain last year and it sure looks like the one I got. I will have to check if it is planted somewhere else but I do believe you are correct... thank you

Re: H. 'Journey's End'
Don, I recall when you first started your hosta beds and were sneaking a foot here and there so your wife wouldn't notice. You have came a long way since and as the years go by the excitement is still here. Spring is wonderful to see the new plants emerge and find new and added shoots and double fro...

Grass needed cutting, all the hosta in my garden are up but maybe 10 but this year will not worry like the years before when I was sure they were dead but just were late risers . I gu...

I made a couple new spots last fall and are in need of plants to fill in the empty area. They were all plants they had from previous seasons and all oversized one...

Re: Come On, Babies! They're Coming!
I'm thinking the pictures Don has posted are from 2014 but maybe I am wrong. Most of mine are up and showing out of the ground and the ones I purchased are so tempting to plant now but woke this morning to snow half way down the mountain so maybe safer on my deck in the pots they were purchased in t...

Re: Diamonds Are Forever going gang busters
It is The greenery in Kelowna BC. They won the best nursery award this past season . Lots of beautiful plants, nice staff and very helpful with information if needed. Harder for Canadians to shop in the US and with our $$ so poor and snow in the Eastern Provinces we take what we can

Re: Diamonds Are Forever going gang busters
Bkay and BChosta , Nice finds. I love the minute man, Patriot, etc too. I had to go back for a quick trip today and check out the other large pots and I managed to pick up several I didn't have and a couple that I so love . It is nice to have a large spare or two. I did get one that was also on the ...

Re: Diamonds Are Forever going gang busters
Could the term "pips " come from as shortening of something called a loving tern of a pipsqueak( as in small fry) ? I have used this same term because I had heard it used on the forum by some of the seasoned growers. Got my first hosta hit today and came home with a large division of Lakeside Spellb...

Re: who has come over from the old GW?

I was really missing all the interesting family that shares the love of our hosta addictions. Just so I can see if this lets me download picture or if I can figure it out will try now. Happy ...
