Beautiful Liberty ViolaAnn, she really is something special. Mine is two years in the pot originally was two eyes, this year 14 eyes and had to re pot as its roots were pushing it up and out :eek: Last year it looked like this.

Thanks, I got her in 2013 when I was just starting my hosta addiction, there are some earlier pics above in this thread.
I was not sure if it was normal for the centres to narrow with age, seems to grow quickly as this happens.

Thanks, About 98% are in pots, Ireland is slug hell and I can only buy by mail order here and they can be pretty small so pots for a few years until they can cope in the wild so to speak. I really do like the look of them in pots too. You have quite an amazing and extensive collection.
