thanks for the congrats, I am really happy with her! Lisa, yes, I am definitely going to show her, I think she will do well, she should have the same beautiful movement that Fable, my champion girl has. Lucy, I love her feet! They do look like platforms there, dont they? My breeder usually always pr...

I got a new Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, her name is "Echo". I got her 6 days aago, she's my new show puppy. She has a decent background in performance events also, so she should be lots of fun. She's already like velcro, following me everywhere, and wants to sleep draped across whatever part of my bo...

Koi
I'm posting this here, because these are really pets of a sort, and the pond gardening forum is more for plants. I started my koi pond last summer, I kept a few goldfish over the winter to get it balanced, and added Koi this summer. I think the goldfish were a mistake. Now I have 50 2-3inch goldfish...

I consider these my backyard pets, so I'll post this here. For the last 5 or 6 yrs, I have a new batch of these babies every summer. I am glad theyre here, I have always loved snakes, but also cause these little garters love slugs! I see about 2 or 3 while I am having a "mowing and pulling weeds" da...

When mine proliferate, I just take them off, when they are about 8" tall, put them in a glass of water, and in about 2 -3 weeks, they have roots about 3 inches long- put them in potting soil for a month on the porch, keeping them wet, then in the ground- some from last year put up 3 scapes this year.

Hi Ginger- well, in a class of about 10, she came in 2nd 2 days, and 3rd one day. Its not bad, considering, but of course it doesnt let you advance to compete for points. She got lots of compliments, 2 judges told me they hoped she showed under them someday, and most importantly, she had a blast. Th...

This year, it is 11 ft tall so far, and light pink. Is it possible it could be this large in its first yea...

My two large hibiscus are all laying down this year, also. Last year I had them in a sort of peony cage, a circular wire frame that supported the stems about 24" off the ground. Never got around to it this year, so now each plant is 15" high, by 9ft across! lol For next year, I am going to custom ma...

The 2 planted together, bloomed for an incredibly long time last summer- neighbors all wanted starts. I gave them Chirs' website, told them to go buy some! http://img216.ima...
