He got her from a friend of a friend of a friend I think.
As soon as I saw her I knew her name
Betty, as opposed to Wilma. Kinda named her after Wilma, as in the Flintstones.
Well it was a toss up between Betty and Reba. I'm 90 % sure it will be Betty anyway.

Look what hubby brought home
Look what he brought home. Now I'm missing Wilma really bad, but OMG this is a cute puppy! I feel guilty about him bringing her home so soon after Wilma. I think I feel even more guilty because I like her  And she looks just like a little Travis. He said she was half JRT and half Chiwawa. She...

Had to have Wilma put to sleep yesterday. :( She was 10 yrs old. Put it off as long as I could. But her poor foot was getting worse, so bad she started getting open sores clear up her leg. And she hurt bad, I could tell. She didn't act like her normal self. I couldn't stand seeing her like that anym...

Re: Rabbit's nest
Actually they are covered. Rabbits use hair and weeds to cover them. But it isn't anything that would stop rain from getting into the nest. I have no idea how those lil sapsucker survive out there but as you see they can LOL. How big were the babies? They might be ready to leave the nest anyway. The...

This is looking into my back yard from the outside of the fence. From the inside you can't even see the chain link fence! You can see the Clematis and rose bush and tiny part of the Honey suckle..I really need to cut off the dead sticks on the rose bush, but man that thing is wicked  I need to ...

Lily of the Valley?
What kind of conditions do they like? I know some don't like them, and they grow everywhere, but I don't mind. I lost tons of my stuff last year and my SIL gave me a bunch of these so I could plant this year :) I've always like the looks of them. Do they die back over summer or will the leaves stay?...

Re: Shrub Peony
Is there a difference between shrub and tree type? I'm not talking about the normal kind, this is a woody plant.
I think it was labeled "shrub". The name was something like Komatuso that's as close as I can get to spelling it

Re: peony question
How long have they been there? They do outgrow their spots if planted years ago. Then in that case they need to be divided up and they will grow better.
