Re: Hosta Andromeda update

Very nice Digs, I like the name too! I was lucky to get a Spilt Milk seedling also with this streaking two years ago. I'm hoping papa was Blue Mouse Ears, I did some dabbing but didn't record it. I'll hopefully have a better idea when it flowers. Good luck with Andromeda and congrats!

Re: Possible freeze tonight, so everything is covered...

Chris, glad to hear the damage wasn't as bad as it could have been. This weather is so frustrating but especially for you as a business owner. Sorry to hear about your kidney stone, I just went through that ordeal myself last Monday and I feel your pain, literally! Not fun at all.

Re: The ground is still frozen...

I did some raking in one bed and covered up some hosta roots that were exposed with some compost I have pips starting to sprout in my pots stored in the garage, glad for the slow start of spring too but come on already. I'm ready to dig.

Linda, glad to hear you and John were able to get away, hopefully it was warmer there than at home. No more Hosta College for you?? That is a sad thought! No moo crew this year, you were all missed, hostatality was just not the same without moo. :D

Just checking in and yes, had a great time at Hosta College. I brought along my friend Donna and she really enjoyed it too. She attended for the first time and was really impressed with everything. We enjoyed vending and the auction Friday night. Then looked forward to Saturdays classes. For first p...
