I found some in the lot next to us that were a rawhide colored brown and low growing, but they also seemed to follow a crooked line in the yard. It was almost like they were attached to an undergrown root system. I thought it could have been attached to/or feeding off from the dead roots of a tree I...

Heavenly Blue morning glories
I planted these at the base of my glass welcome sign, and all of a sudden they took over. Isn't it gorgeous? It is at the corner of my front deck and completely hides the sign. There are tons of buds on it and it still is producing. CHAR

What a great big wonderful boxer boy he is. Ah, I can see it now, just one shake of that head and 'dog slobber' flying everywhere. Our boxer is now a lot more sedate. He is 5. And they say, at 2, they calm down a lot. I waited longer than that, but finally he did. He still has moments tho. I can't t...

And now for Corky
Corky has his own couch, yes he does, and his own chair. He sleeps at night on the couch with his blue blanket, but usually it is folded, and he uses it like a pillow, but this time he got crazy and rolled, and then went to sleep.
The chair is where he can watch outside. CHAR

Sunflowers
I wanted sunflowers for a long stemed display in a vase. But the stems on these didn't get long enough wihout having to cut off more than one bloom. However, they are very pretty in the garden. All over 6ft. tall. CHAR

Anyone for a Snooze?
Mickey has found another place for his nap. And he barely fits. This morning in his haste to get up there he kicked the scanner to the floor. Fortunately the cord is short, and it stopped the fall of the piece of equipment. But that certainly didn't concern Mickey. It just meant that the spot was cl...

The only time Mickey talks with his mouth full is when he is bringing in a 'treat' to share with the dog. He can come and go as he pleases through the pet door, and always comes in with a 'live' critter in his mouth. The dog just loves it. Not me, then I have to put down the sticky mouse pads to cat...
