Very cool. I've never seen one so I googled it and it looks like they happen naturally in the grey squirrel population. We have a population of greys with white ears, no odd white anywhere else, just the ears.

Tundra, it's nice to see your new kitty is settling in just fine with her "twin". They really do look like littermates.

And if you turn it into shavings make sure it stays FAR away from horses. Walnut toxins cause severe founder (laminitis, swelling of the feet) in horses. Rotation of the bones of the foot leads to the horse being put to sleep.

I think her ear hair is starting to sprout. It looks longer than the last set you posted just a short time ago! She's growing up!

I don't think so. I think they lay flat on a surface and have definate rib type texture (like the underside of a mushroom head). Not much time to focus!
