Sue, can I ride with you? SOMEONE needs to keep you out of trouble. Might as well be me.

Re: First Hummer Pics!
We just saw our first hummingbird a few minutes ago. Yippee! Sorry, no pictures. The kids were too noisy and off he went.
Gotta love the hummers!

Re: ID help
Thanks Chris. I was having a terrible time getting them the right size to post. I appreciate the help! And thanks for the good luck. This is a non profit group of volunteers who started out over 30 years ago hosting this sale to replace the elm trees lost to disease. It has become a huge sale. It wa...

Re: Baltimore Orioles
I saw my first Oriole yesterday at my feeders. Good thing I had them ready! I told my dd they came to say "happy 6th birthday" to her.

ID help
I belong to a group of volunteers who help hold a big plant sale each year, with profits going to replace/plant trees in our county. These daylilies need to be IDed. Any ideas? They don't seem too uncommon. Thanks for any help. JO http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l202/theoldegardengate/GSDaylilies2...

Claudia, you are so lucky to have such a variety of birds in your yard. Sigh. But thanks for sharing!! So many of what you see are my favorites. Send them my way, will you?

Re: Baltimore Orioles
Ok, that did it. I'd better get my oriole feeders out. I've never fed them grapes, just the oranges and grape jelly. I'm jealous. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Gold finchs changing outfits
I moved my finch feeder closer to my kitchen window, so I have seen the changing of outfits up close and personal. They are getting pretty bright! They don't look near as ragged as they did just a week ago. Nice pictures.

I got both last year and they are both peeking their heads out. We'll see. I love all of the new colors, too.
