How to finish seed pod ripening indoors?
I already lost (too late) the ONE seed pod on my Gunther's Pride. What is the sugar/water ratio for finishing them indoors? Also, does the color of the pod have anything to do with what you might get? As in, striped pods vs. plain colored? I'm going to try growing some this winter. Thanks!

Re: Seed pods..
I don't know the answer to the question but....
How many seeds would a seed pod hold if a seed pod could hold seed????
made me chuckle.

Do you have help, or do we need to form a hosta digging posse to help? Where are you located?

Re: Hallson's Get-Together 2009
Emmy and I had a great time. I hope she didn't get on anyone's last good nerve. (Other than her Mom's  ). We left at 7:00 a.m. to hit the Cedar Rapids farmer's market. It was alot bigger than what I had imagined. Met up with Sue and Ruth at the market and then picked up Jill and Em and I follwe...

Re: Hallson's Get-Together 2009
Marlys~~Sue will attest to the fact that Emmy talks ALL of the time. I was thinking using pink duct tape would be less obvious; blend in a little.   Are we going to have to give Marlys and Reldon time outs on opposite sides of the gardens?? I guess first they would have to both make ...

Re: Hallson's Get-Together 2009
I can't wait. Only thing is, I just found out my son and husband have a scout outing, so I will have to bring Emmy. I hope no one minds. Roxanne, do you have a a dog or kitty to keep her occupied? How about duck tape? Preferably pink.

Re: Secret Trade Received!
I got home last night after a long day out of town and what was sitting by the door? A familiar looking triangle box. My secret trade. Yippee!! Mary/Pandora sent me really nice divisions of 3 hostas that I didn't have. Another yippee! I got August Moon, Sea Fire and Manhattan. I can't wait to see ho...
