The squares didn't start out as a planned quilt. I have a book of potholders with each one a different quilt square. I liked the way they went together, and it went from there into this quilt. This purse was a gift for my daughter in law. She wears, carry's, and uses lots of stuff with bright colors. So when her birthday came around, I made this purse/carrying bag for her. Very simple to make, and on top of that the material (a heavy canvas) was on sale. You can't beat that for a deal. CHAR

After the big storm, all the bird feeders were choked with snow. I went out , cleaned them out and refilled.

The whole shrub is full, and I mean full, of tiny little yellow flowers. I always thought that they bloomed in the spring, but mine always blooms now.
