You don't need to pull off the frosted leaves unless you want to do this for asthetic reasons ... you are actually better NOT trying to, as you may damage the new buds ... and there are no others if the second lot fail

In July I came across a nest of five newly born leverets (young hares) The hare is vaguely related to the rabbit but lives in a nest on top of the ground (unlike the rabbit who lives in a burrow) This means that it must grow up more quickly in order to survive, and its longer back legs (much longer ...
