You've got me drooling over the daylilys everywhere. I got some beautiful ones from Chris last year, keep seeing yours posted here, and find myself eyeballing those on ebay. STOP IT! I do NOT need another addiction!!

I bought some asparagus plants at a garage sale, of all places. Looks like they just dg up the plants with lots of soil. I brought them home, plopped them in the ground and tada, they grew!

Always up for more! Very pretty. I don't have much luck with hollyhocks. They always have the leaves chewed to pieces.

Thanks. I was afraid maybe I should have waited until fall. Does anyone think I should cut the foliage down, or leave it as is? I sure don't want to lose it. (Although, she said try it, and if it didn't get started to give her a call....what a sweetheart!)

Glad to hear! With all the records broken, I am sure people have been surprised that they ended up having trouble. Like the channel 7 guy said...we know where the water will go when water is at a certain point, but when records are broken, there is no way to tell.

For now, with all of the rotten weather, I potted it up so I can keep a better eye on it. Since I am on a hill in the country, the wind can be pretty harsh on some plants, too. Especially new ones. Thanks!
