Spring Trade
I know that there has been some interest in a Spring Trade. I have hosted in the past and would be willing to do so again unless judyg163, or someone else would rather host. Please let me know .........

Re: Summer Trades Received
I'd like to thank hostamanphil for the great package. He reminded me that we were spaw partners a few summers ago. It was nice to receive after getting back from a weekend of helping clean my grandparent home. They just moved to a assisted care facility. I was able to nab some plant starts, (even so...

Lakeside Zinger Sport
Hey all. I was out looking for my plant to send for the summer trade, and look what I found. It is a complete eye in the middle of LS Zinger. What do you think? I think it looks pretty cool. Should I seperate it this summer or wait and see if it comes back next spring? http://i301.photobucket.com/al...

Doesn't look like too much interest, but if you get enough, I'll play in the trade.

Finally home from a 3.5 week family vacation from MN to San Diego and back (including 8 national parks and Disney and Sea World! I want to thank Allen (allhuskrred) for his great package. My MIL potted the plants up while I was out. I received nice divisions of Summer Lovin, Rise and Shine, First Fr...

Re: Secret Trade Received!! 2010
Sorry to my trade partner, (I still don't know who you are). We are on a family vacation from Minnesota to San Dieago via many Nat'l Parks. My mother-in-law received the plants (since we've had limited contact, I am not sure what you sent, but Thank you, I know that I'll love them). She has potted t...

Jim- Yep, Duluth has had about 2-4 inches. I am on the crest of the hill so we seem to get the most out of any storm. It looks a lot like a Norman Rockwell Christmas Scene......You know the one with the gardeners swearing and covering all their plants!  I am hoping that both the buds on t...

Thanks CHris.
No leaves yet, just the eyes/pips. It is supposed to rain tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be a lot.

When to water?!?
All- This is the earlies that I have ever had hostas emerging. We usually have snow until the end of April. It has been really dry here and I am wondering if I should start watering, or should I wait. I am worried if I water, they will really come up and be hit by a normal frost. On the other hand I...

Re: My Favorite seedling (at least this year)
Pauhaus, Eastwood-
This plant is 4 years old and a great grower. I'd say it's a medium to medium-large.
No slug damage either, but the four legged varmits tend to do damage after they have eaten all the other hosta.
