Re: This is Rocky!
Oh Char, Did she say anything about putting a holter on him to monitor his heart for a few weeks? It could also be diabetes, did she check his sugar? Sometimes when they are really young they will seizure after alot of exertion, you know how they are, they don't know when to stop and rest! I will be...

Hawk on Tower Cam
One of our news stations caught video of this hawk resting on one of their news towers. Most of the towers in this area have video cameras installed. I am not sure what kind of hawk, I think it is a young redtail, but I can't see the back of the tail well enough to be sure. http://www.news9.com/glob...

Re: Meet Maggie Mae
I will check that out. I have heard that putting a couple of pieces of pineapple in their food will stop them from eating poop. It makes it yucky and they don't like it. The pineapple won't hurt them either, but give them the little cut up pieces, not a whole round. Maggie is not eating poop, but on...

Re: Planning Veggie Garden??
Jeez Karma... you have got to be the most organized think ahead person I know! I envy you that, I really do. I will start thinking about the veggies later on, but I seldom plant more than tomatos, peppers, onion, garlic and cilantro! I gotta have my salsa

Re: Meet Maggie Mae
A few updated pics of Maggie. She is almost 7 months now and still pretty small and skinny. Took her to the vet last week because she kept having runny stools. No parasites, so we are looking at the kibble and most likely will have to change it. In the meantime the vet gave me some pills to try to s...

You are going a great job with them LG! Thanks for posting the videos, they were fun to watch. I laughed at little Miss Annabelle in the first one of her, she was like 'Mom I gotta potty!" LOL

Re: Lizards n' stuff
Have to wait till I get home to see the picture, but it made me think about a lizard we had at our fund raiser in Pet Smart last weekend. It was Santa Paws so you could bring in your pet and get a picture with Santa for 10 bucks and half of it went to our resuce... so anyway, a really cute young cou...

He is so cute! Sam and I are both bad about letting Maggie sit on our lap, but shoot how can you resist those faces Even when my other boxer dogs were full grown they still managed to get in our laps somehow Walker is 95# and thankfully has never tried to sit in my lap

Re: Anyone need a dog?
Not sure why she can't take the dog?? but please ask her to contact the local rescue for Malamutes. I am sure there is one close by, even in a neighboring state.

Re: Meet Maggie Mae
Not a digger yet  She is crated during the day (I hate to do that but it is best for now) so is only outside supervised and she is still getting used to everything. My ratties are not being very nice to her right now, but she is a puppy and bouncing around and stepping on them, wanting their ch...
