Looks like a lily... smells like a lily
but its a crinum lily from the amaryllis family. I had no idea what they were when I moved in (I have about 10 clumps in different places in the yard) and imagine my surprise when they bloomed with these "lilies" that smell so fragrant!! Guess they are very common here in Texas. http://RockinC...

http://RockinC.smugmug.com/photos/181092006_UEiYk-Ti.jpg Hi Jimmy!! Dividing and digging was probably one of the saddest things I've done for this move. Most of my hostas are big now and its frustrating to think I'm going to start over with hostas that are only two to six eyes. And also sad t...

Ginger, the front of the house does face east and yes, I've already decided that the bushes in front of the porch must go. I am going to leave the hostas in pots for one year and then see how everyone is doing. Last night I divided and dug June, Parhelion, Abba Dabba Do, Guardian Angel, Zounds...

I'm kinda already facing this with my collection of 300+ hostas and probably 100 companion plants that will mostly be left behind when I move to Texas. I will divide and take some of them with me but it will probably only be 20-30 hostas and all of the lilies. I deeply saddened leaving them be...

The farmers don't want the beavers backing up the water and he brought a backhoe and dug out the dam ...
