Beautiful pics, Dirk. Your Joyce Trott may inspire me to try again with this hosta. I lost it once, but that was during a horrible drought.
Jade Cascade is a favorite of mine. I don't have another hosta in my garden that looks like it, with those long arching leaves. My old cat used to love to hide under it. I no longer have the cat, but every time I look at this hosta I think of her.

Hi Linda, i know H.Joyce Trott is a difficult one. You need from the start a healthy plant and let it grows in good ground in a container. I think that's the best solution.
Also a nice pic of H.Jade Cascade with this cat !! :D :D :D
Maybe you try this one with special hanging leaves and the petioles are also hanging to the ground.
Hosta kikutii var. caput-avis (sugita)
Next week in the alphabet collection i showing a new pic of these Hosta.

I sound like a broken record (all you young folks probably won't get that, but there used to be black shiny round things called records & if they were scratched it would repeat the same words over & over & over. It was very annoying!). Oh, sorry, I forgot what I was saying. I sound like that broken record when I say ANOTHER bunch of beautiful photos Dirk!

I've seen so many different pictures of Inniswood I'm not sure what it really looks like. Mine has much wider leaves than yours but the color is about the same. Mine gets really bumpy. It's one of my oldest hostas so that may be why it looks so different. They sure look different when they're new.

Invincible, Janet & Julie Morrs are all more of my favorites. Janet was one of my first hostas & I got it mixed up & couldn't figure out what it was for several years. I kept thinking it had to be Gold Standard but it just didn't look like GS, but that was the closest thing I had. Then I found the receipt & could not remember buying a Janet, but that's what it said. That was way before I was into hostas, so it's not surprising that I wasn't paying attention to the name. And I'm not very organized so I understand how I lost the receipt for 2 years, I'm just amazed I found it!
This year one of my Janets reverted & about half the huge plant was all green. What's an all green Janet called?

Linda, your Jade Cascade & kitty are really great! Your kitty looks like my Bubber! He wanted out so bad last week but we don't let them out ever. I opened the door to show him the snow drift & 2' of snow & he backed up so fast! Kitties are funny!

There was a bunch of people going crazy over Jade Cascade a couple years ago on the forum & I just couldn't see what all the commotion was about. They showed a few pics but after seeing your picture Dirk, I finally get it! And wish I could get it! I'll be adding this to my wish list along with a new yard to put it in!
