Description: Rippled blue-green leaves with ruffled leaf margins arched and folded to reveal their white backs.
Size: Medium (27"w x 22"h) (well, that's the registered size. Mine is now larger.)
Origin: H. 'Salute' x H. pycnophylla
Flowers: Lavender in late summer
Added to garden: Spring 2008

In 2011 this one looked like someone had fed it steroids as it grew a lot from the previous year.

This one is new to me this year, and is already one of my favorites.

Still amazes me how large this one is. Obviously must have been registered before it reached its full growth.
Wendy, I'd love to see a pic of yours this year.

Mine won me a "Best in Show" for hosta leaves at the Ottawa Horticultural Society June show.

I was surprised at the size of the leaves on the mature plant. I have some nice seedlings from it, though they are
quite slow. Mine is getting really large as well, though I don't have a picture of it. This was the year I was going
to do pictures of all my hostas, but the heat and drought have made that a project to put off til next year.
