This is a real "oldie but goodie". A lovely mature clump of which I'm very fond.

I have two but one seems a little odd - it's scape is really tall.
Here is the "normal" one. Here is the second one with the tall scape. It does get some direct sun.

This one is the same size or maybe a touch smaller this year. It's quite mature, but it was also a very dry season.

I have had this hosta for many years. It is one of my earlier acquisitions (before I became hosta obsessed). Mine does not get much sun, maybe an hour or so of afternoon sun. It also has to compete with tree roots. All in all I have to say that it has been a very good dependable hosta. And for me it has gotten better each year.
Apparently Twilight is supposed to be an improved version. Twilight has wider margins, but has been my most disappointing hosta---lots of crispy edges. Can't be due to too much sun, but perhaps not enough watering. It is also in a pot. Here is a picture of my Fortunei Aureomarginata.

Looks lovely. Funny how those "improved" versions sometimes aren't. (I mentioned the same thing with 'Sweet Innocence' vs 'Fragrant bouquet'.)
My FA really took off when I moved it to a place where it didn't have to compete with tree roots and it got more light. Like you, it's one I had before I really got into hostas.

Got this shot of Fortunei Aureomarginata this evening.
That's a large Halcyon in the upper/right corner. And Volcano Island is in a pot in the bottom/left corner along with some small potted Miss Ruby and Mr Blue.

One of my first hostas. I moved it three times, and it is doing well.

28th of June, she has been in this pot for 4 years and she will go in the ground soon, she has done well.

2016 update. One on-line friend questioned this plant because the pictures make the leaves look blue, but I assure you they are not. Have a new camera. We'll see if that makes things look different in 2017. Photo July 23.
