Description: narrow leaf margin is two tone green and streaks irregularly toward the midrib;
Size: Small (24"w x 14"h)
Origin: H. 'Montana' sport
Flowers: Pale Lavender in mid-summer. Scape has inflorescence leaves
Added to garden: August 2006
Notes: VERY slow to emerge in the spring - easily the last to emerge.

This one looked very good indeed this past year. It held its colour much longer than last year and was a really nice bright spot in a dark corner.

A contrast to mine - taken Aug. 3 and it had nearly greened up. This one gets a bit a late afternoon sun peeking underneath the lilacs above it.

This picture taken a bit earlier in the season this year. I was surprised how late in the season it greened up given that we had an early spring.

9th year in my garden and it's not getting any larger. I think it's location may be dry and I've tried to pay special attention to it; so maybe next year... This picture July 8.

2015 - July 25. Maybe slightly larger. This is later in the season when it had darkened up quite a bit.

2016 update - I'm not so sure it has grown at all. Likely too close to my lilac bushes.
