oh... I wish I had a mouseketeer sport... Topo Gigio!

and seriously, Chris... I think Brotherly Love is a great name. It has geographic connotations, would appeal to those with religious hosta them beds, as well as the secular peace-and-love folks, much better name for a gift to siblings than B Stephan... there is a lot of marketing potential there! I have several friends who would want it just for the name...

This is a seedling from Jewel of the Nile, which had a few yellow streaks in years past. I am loving the new sport from the seedling with the yellow center. One eye is all the same. Another eye has a few streaks, the other eyes are solid green.

That yellow-centred sport will be spectacular if you can stabilize it.

I'd go with Brotherly Love & Dancing Mouse Ears.
Eye of the Tiger is a cool name, BUT I was so sick of that song from the Rocky movie that I'd never buy anything with that name.

That should be enough for now!
Chris
How about Scalloped Corn, or Corn Soufle?

Chris,
I was going down a (flamenco) mouse hole, and rediscovered this post. What's the status of "Brotherly Love"? I might have some use for it in a few years.

Yes, Chris, tell us where these are after 5 more years.

This is what I had been looking for to post sports.
I probably posted these photos before.

I'm still curious what happened with the Brother Stefan sport. Brotherly Love, would, of course, have made a great choice for our 2018 convention plant. Alas.
(Ed, it seemed this post was all about Hallson's sports.)

Yes, it seemed that but the title was "Got Sports?" etc. I assumed it was for anybody but no one used it. And Chris didn't update it so I poked it.
I use the "weedling" page for a lot of stuff that pop-up in my gardens - I use the AHS Facebook page but to me it's too disorganized. I use the index here to add to update info of particular plants - I like adding flower shots. ( I even think about adding pods and anther colors but that's TMI and hard the photograph.) If I had access to the HL I'd post there too.
I wanted a single location to put sports. Or they could be appended to the parent but then they would get lost.

Hi Ed, and greetings from Ireland!
It was fun to look back at my original topic. A few of those sports received names, a few never developed or maybe didn't even remain stable, and then I brought several other totally new sports with me to Ireland along with a couple original seedlings. As soon as I have the garden here weeded I will try to get pictures posted with my new plants. For now the holding bed is very crowded but as soon as all my gardening tools arrive (mower, rototiller, etc.) I'll start working on new gardens. The first bed had to be created in a rush and while the free manure from my neighbours was nice it grew some ferocious weeds too. But the planting done in July has grown like crazy with all the August and September rain we received.
Hard to believe I get to update my location as County Roscommon, Ireland, at least zone 7 but might be closer to zone 8. EDIT: I looked it up and my area says zone 9a
Thanks for the topic bump and chat with you later.
