Hosta of the Day - Formal Attire
I have had this in a pot for two seasons.
It is a cross of 'Breeder's Choice' x 'Frances Williams'.

Here are two shots of the same plant - one early and one late.
(The plant is in the same orientation in both shots - so the top leaf is the same one in both shots.)

Here is my Formal Attire today - it is in a trough. The messy plant at the bottom is Prince of Darkness.

Here is my Formal Attire starting out this season. I took it out of a trough last season and added it to my "New Garden".

Re: Hosta of the Day - Formal Attire
Boy, this really looks just like the 'Pie à la Mode' we were supposed to sell at our plant sale last weekend (but they didn't look so good).
I do tire of the look-alike hostas. Formal Attire is very nice! But why do we need another one?

Tigger, do you have photos of 'Pie à la Mode' - I don't see it in the Hosta Library. I see some photos at vendors.
Here is Formal Attire today - a lot bigger and the edge is getting lighter.
That's Seducer to the right - still young.
