Weedlings in the garden - are you saving some?

Came across a couple of interest to me.
This tiny one showed up as I was cleaning one of my paths. I almost kill it. It is really tiny - I doubt if it will grow - I have seen these little ones before and they die off.

This one is nothing to look at but where I found it was odd. I was cleaning "junk" out of my hardy orchid bed which doesn't have any hosta in it. This plant was buried under the orchid leaves and I never would have seen it except that I was digging out phlox, violets and poke weed in that bed so I was close to the ground - also finally got the bulb of a greenbriar that's been in there since it came in with a mountain laurel I planted many years ago (long before I was into hosta). I moved the little weedling to the garden in the middle of my lawn - it probably came from there.

I was working in my rectifolia area today. I was trying to redirect some of the "runners" and keep them in the same area. While I was at it I also had to move some weedlings that were in the way. Usually these things are plain green but one had a lot of color at the base of the petiole.

A couple more:
This one has been around for a few years - don't think I have seen it flower. Very small leaves for a weedling - usually these things are bigger.

I just noticed this one with an early scape. It might have a lighter edge to it.

With luck and cooler temps I might be able to cross it with Red Cloud which has a similar sized scape.

I've only got one real weedling, but I rather like it. It's probably from 'Lakeside Zinger'.

I have a few smallish plants. I think they are from my rectifolia 'Kinbuchi Tachi' but who knows. I have 4 weedlings on the other side of the space with tall scapes but these are really short scapes.

I showed this one last season. The baskets are to try to stop the rabbit from chopping the scapes.

A rectifolia weedling - a lot of these show up in this space where the bulk of the plants have a rectifolia background.

Posted this one earlier in the season. It has a name - Bri-Sun's Buddy. The white flower are different from what I normally see in weedlings.

I have a bunch of similar ones down the slope from my rectifolia group. These have dark flowers with lots of stripes. One differentiated itself by having a flower that seemed an inch longer then the others in the group - hence the name BYW Longfellow.

And here is the more "normal" flower for this group. This one has the garden name "BYW Black Bart" because it had been the darkest of the group. But it has been getting lighter so I will be moving the name to one that looks almost black - it is still tiny and hasn't flowered yet but it is really dark and is growing next to a weird yellow one - I can't wait to see both of them flower.

This next one is in a garden with a lot of red petiole plants. I may have posted this before - it's growing tucked into an azalea.
The leaves are very thick and it has a black scape. The flower petals are thick. When I tried to bend the flower to get a better camera angle, the flower snapped off the peduncle, there was no flexibility - I haven't seen that before.
Something else odd about this flower - it has only 5 petals. That's not too unusual but here there were only 5 stamen also. Normally when I see 5 petals it's because one didn't form right but there are usually 6 stamen anyway.
