I've only seen a single honey bee--about a month ago. One bee, one wasp, and one bumble bee, and that is it. My fruit trees (cherry, apple, pear) are just finishing blooming, and not only do I not see any bee activity, but it doesn't look as tho there's been any pollination.
I wonder if the situation will improve as the season progresses......
Missing Bees

Just a thought
I have found that the plant that attracts the most bees is Lavender Hyssop.
There are hundreds of them on it all the time it is in bloom in the summer.
So if you want more bees (and who doesn't) grow some in full sun and they will find the hosta.
