Secret Trade, anyone??

Post by Roxanne »

Hi all...I know alot of us have experienced freezes, frosts, and some more, some less damaged plants this year. I have some out there myself. :(

Would anyone still be interested in a Secret Trade? I would coordinate it this time, but probably make the sign up deadline a little later, say May 19th, and have ship date no later than June 11th. I would let everyone know who's name they got on May 20-21.

Let me know if you would be interested....!! :D

I'm interested but as someone said I don't know what survived or how much. I'm starting to see them wake up now. Lots of Royal Standard showing up, some Moerheim. A little bit of Night Before Christmas but so far that's it.

I've never been in a secret trade. What are the rules?

I'm game. I didn't participate last year since I was recouping from surgery. I have alot that are mush! But I did cover quite a few that look beautiful.

Wish I had something to offer. But since I am newbie to hostas..... I only have 4 hostas that I just planted! So hope I can "watch" this year.

Nanny go buy a hostas that is big enough to divide and split it. Keep half and use the other half for the trade. Win Win situation

Last year was my first secret trade -- lots of fun! I'd love to do it again, but -- like last year -- I probably can participate only if we can supplement our box with plants other than hostas. Most of the hostas I have multiple pieces of are oldies....er, I mean, classics.

Classics sound good to me bengal! I have a really small collection and would love to expand it with some of the older ones! After all you can't run before you learn to walk (I think?)

I'm up for it. Think I lost a few this spring but I think I can come up with some for a trade. Otherwise....added bonus I'll go buy a couple and split them up...always up for more hostas.

WOW! So many replies so far! This is great. :P I am right now off to bed, but the trade rules are pretty much the same as always. If someone else doesn't chime in before me, I will state the rules here tomorrow, as I will be home.
