WOW - I've had mine for about 5-6 years and it does nothing but come back every year, sprout about 5-7 scraggly leaves and trash-out by the end of the summer. I moved in the summer of 2005 and ALL of my hostas (> 300) came with me - was a LOT of work. 90% are thriving, have lost a couple, a few have dwindled from robust to puny, and a handful remain less than mediocre at best - Solar Flare is one of these.

Suggestions???

That is funny Whesie! :???: Mine here in Western North Carolina, is one of my all time favorites. :D In fact I divided a couple divisions off at the end of last summer for my sister & it still looks great!
