Ophir looks great until you get close. I know I mounded soil over it before the cold came. But I think I should have added a blankie for it too cuz it looks like it's got a permanent case of goosebumps. It's never looked like this before. Every leaf has em too - some of the bumps are bumped up on the top side & others bump out on the underside. :o Very strange!! I will definitely be watching it - hope it is normal again next year.

Pia - the color in the pic is very accurate for how it looks right now. But if you saw a blue hosta next to it, you would think that it looks more gray-green. But it doesn't have quite the same coloration as some other Striptease plants I've seen that seem to be a brighter green - especially the centers. It doesn't look like the blue of Kiwi Full Monty if that's what you're thinking.

My striptease is looking similar-- I thought that there was something wrong with it :-? Will it green up as the days go by???? By the way I am liking your "spots" :cool: We need rain here I am watering like crazy to keep everything popping. Your work is paying off cause your garden is looking great :D
