Last Evening...

The light was real nice for some pictures. The blues looked sooo good!!

Camelot & Revolution - the blue doesn't show quite as intensely in this pic. The color in the other pics is truer to what it looked like last evening.

Your hosta's are breathtaking Reldon. I love them all. I have always wanted to get Camelot, but always pass. I think I have just not seen the right one to take home, yet.

Thanks, Debbie. :P Yep - that's an old rusty milk can. I like rust & old things in the garden - it blends in nicely I think. Camelot is one of the bluest of my blues right now. It's got a nice spot where it really shows off too. Sorry about yours... :???:

:o :o  He'd better not be, Beth!! Thanks. :D

Thanks, Linda :P - Camelot must be happy where it is now. I moved it forward last year when I rearranged this bed & now it gets a lot more dappled light & some late afternoon sun. It has never looked this good before - but then I could barely see it before cuz it was hiding back under the spirea. Next time you run across it, pick it up.

Thanks, Debbie. :D Now that Alexa has shown me how to do unlimited thumbnails in a post - I'm outta control!!!!!

Bad Alexa!!   That's why I fit in so well in my own gardens. LOL I'm like the tin man - I need a squirt or 2 of oil so I can move from one spot I'm working in to the next.

Excellent pictures.
It is nice seeing them all presented together and then in smaller group.
Great job!

They all look gorgeous! And I love the thumbnail pics. Being on slow dial up is a pain sometimes, because the larger pics that forever and a day to load and sometimes I don't have time to wait for them. :( These pics loaded in no time flat!! :D

Could you put a closeup of little black scape? That is one I'd like to add someday.

Lookin' good! I've got a lot of rusty stuff in my garden, too, and I really like the looks of it.
I think Camelot takes a few years in the garden to develop its' full potential. I'd agree, if you don't have it and run across it, you should definitely pick it up!!!

Thanks for all the nice comments everybody!! :P This garden & E3 are the main 2 that are 'finished' to my satisfaction mostly now. I still have some tinkering to do in each, but overall I'm real happy with what I've got in there now. I like all the contrasts I've gotten with the chartreuse/golds & blues & green/white ones. There are a bunch of them like Camelot & Moonlight & Paradise Joyce that have never looked better than they do this year.

Then on the other hand Geisha & Little Black Scape & Peace really got zapped by the cold, and they've come back nicely after being cut back - but they aren't 1/2 the size that they were last year. Soooo..... I'll try to get a pic of LBS when it's looking at it's best, Laura. I'll probly wait til the end of June when it'll be about as full as it'll get. Last year it just glowed all year - looked the best it ever had. I'll see if I can find a 2006 pic of it.

I'm glad the clickable thumbnails are working better for you slow dial-up folks. I feel bad for what I used to do to you with so many pics in a post. Even when I had dial-up, the pics on here never took any longer to load than they do now on hi-speed. Not sure why I lucked out. I guess I didn't realize it was such a hassle for you. Anyway - it doesn't take anymore time [probly less] to do it this way for me than editing pics did. Uploading to Photobucket takes no time at all for me - getting the code for the clickables is the only thing that takes a bit of time really. And you can see my pics the way I can see them - not the blurred pics I've had to show sometimes in the past. I'm really liking doing it this way!! :D

Reldon,

It's so great to see so many fabulous pics. I also liked your combinations a lot. That's definitely where I need to do more work. So many of mine are young and just starting to look good but as they mature, they never seem to work well where they were originally planted.

Great job!
