And when the rains finally stopped, the flowers bloomed

Post by hubble »

These were too good to be true, taken freehand right after the 3 days of constant rain finally stopped the other night. A mushroom rain, my Grandmother would have called it. A deluge, the poor folks just south of here would call it. It's either feast or famine in our little piece of the world called Kansas.

Nice job! The flowers look as though they are sopping wet, don't they! Wish we could get some of that rain up here! :(

We do need some rain, but I'm not hoping for a deluge like Kansas got! Such lovely pics! :D

Beautiful, beautiful!!

Isn't it amazing that some folk actually take off every flower stalk to keep them from blossoming! They like only the foliage!

Also...I've seen bundles of hosta flowers for sale in my wholesaler's flower truck before.........they're a beautiful flower!.....p
