Yes. The dunks contain the natural bacteria Bacillus thuringienis israelensis. It is completely harmless to everything, but the mosquito larvae.

And--are the *granules the same stuff as the dunks--if you know what I'm referring to?

I hope so--I'm ecstatic to know I could use that and be safe! I have a whole container of it out back!!

Yes, should be the same thing...check the label for the bacteria I listed above.
