Oh noooo
Ol' Frosty snuck in last night.
Can see that a few things got nipped.
Will go out in a bit to access the damage.
I'm certainly not ready to give up the gardens. There is sooo much yet to do.
Guess I don't have to give it up just yet.
Not till I can't break the ground with the pick-axe thing.
(I did plant bulbs one year with the pick-axe thing :D Don't think anyone saw me...by the light of the lantern!! )

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm not ready for that yet! But I know it's coming soon. The late evenings, nights, and early mornings are getting quite chilly here. :???:

A bit frosty, but damage looks to be minimal. We'll see what happens when we get back into the 80's in a day or two.

We had frost here in NW Illinois Sat morning. I covered my tomato plant, hauled in the houseplants and covered containers. So far, it looks like my hostas escaped damage. This is the earliest date for frost in the 20 years we've lived on this hilltop.
I'm not ready for the gardening season to be over, either! I still have way too much to do.

We had a real close call with frost last night...might have had a wee bit but no damage, thank goodness! We weren’t in the warning area - but found out at 11 pm there was a slight chance. Too darn tired to even consider dragging out the hoops and plastic at that hour, so just prayed (hehe).

Also supposed to be in the 80s here this week, so glad they didn’t get frosted! The freshly planted ones need more time to get rooted in.

We had frost watches the last 2 nights, but had 35 sat am, and 37 this morning. Hate it to come too early! I was hoping for a fall, not to skip it as we skipped spring :(
