Fall : leaving in style

Post by sugar »

An end to another hostayear, that started over here not too well (first cold snap in december, no frost in january, february and march, and afterwards one month wit a lot of cold, frosty nights (when most plants were allready up) but wasn't too bad afterwards (most plants have been thriving in the rainy summer)

Some plants are giving up already, in great style

Lovely photos, Sugar! Love all those colors, just hate the fact that means they are going down and winter is on it's way again!

Wonderful pics of those hostas showing off their fall colors! I have not been into my hostas as much this year. Back problems kept me from really working in the garden, but now I've got to get out and start putting things away since they are all getting ready for their long winter's nap. :(

Nice photos - I wish my hostas are leaving in style, but the aren't. We have had a very, very dry summer; just now officially in a drought. I have really had to water several things like my hydrangeas and hostas. I have several that still look good though.
