New to this message board

Post by hostageek »

I am new to this message board thing, but a few things. There are no smiles that are having a glass of wine.

But anyway, I am looking possibly to share/swap hostas. I currently am looking for Cat & Mouse, but have a long list.
I am willing to share Teaspoon and/or White Feather. I live around the Madison, WI area.

Hi Hostageek,

Welcome to the forums! I'll have to check into a smile that shares a glass of wine ;)

Have fun!

A glass of wine sounds nice....maybe when I get home.

I would probably add an entry in the "Member Journal" page that lists what you have and want you want. You'll find a number of people keep a record in that section.

Also there is a "Garden Exchange" page as well. You may want to try there too.

Both of these can be found in the Board Index page.

Good luck! Glad to have you here!

Welcome too to the forums.
A  will have to do for now, but I really prefer our local wines. Does anyone know that southern Illinois does make some fantasic wines? We have a booming wine trail business with lots of little B&B's popping up along the trail. I think there are 11 to 12 different vinyards here in southern IL now. I live close to about 6 of them
My favorite is Blue Sky winery Infinity. It is a crisp , semi-dry, but not too sweet, white with lots of citrus aftertones. I usually prefer dry reds and one of my favorite local wines is chamborcin. Here is a link in case anyone is interested.
