Wow... go away for a couple of days and come back to... nice job on the photos, though I think it should be a federal law that you notify someone before you snap that shutter...

This was the fabulous Reldon's birthday / Hallson's Iowa gathering at Reldon's yesterday in Ankeny. A great time was had by all. We just rolled in, so no photos will have to wait - but alwaysweedin has already covered the whole group, including the hosta swap in the driveway/ Everybody who participated went home with really nice plants to add to their gardens..

Great pics! As usual, I didn't even take my camera out. I was too busy having a good time!

So good to have everyone here, but there were a bunch who weren't able to make it.
I'm already thinking I may try to do something again this fall. We shall see....

We left before I got to read the forum, so I didn't know anything about being designated "official photographer" - good thing alwaysweedin did such a nice job. I had great intentions of taking photos of Reldon's gardens... I really did... but then we got to talking...

oh, well! I did try to get pictures of everybody who was there... I may have missed somebody and I apologize if that's so...
I'll let people with better memories do the names...

 I knew I had Jill's name wrong as soon as I typed it, but that was all I could think of at the time... :???:
Editing in a minute...

Sorry I missed your question about the water thingy, Pia.
Yes - in theory it runs from the solar panel alone. Provided it has enough solar power.
I still haven't had a chance to get it set completely up. But it's out of the box at least.
More than I can say for it and a bunch of other things at the time of the convention.
It did come with an a/c adapter also for use indoors. But it may end up on the back deck if it
doesn't get enough sun to run by itself. That's about the sunniest spot in all of the garden,
but it's still very shaded for most of the afternoon.

I wish you didn't live so far away too, playinmud - you would have had a great time!! :D
