Just some pretty photos
God walked with man in Eden's shade,
Christ sought a garden when He prayed.

Looking very nice still. Nothing here that good now. No frost here yet, but some hostas are yellowing after temps in the 30's for several nights.

Japanes marple and impatinse have been gone for more than a month her in zone 7/8.
I looks like we are once again going to have warmer temps in Greenland than in the "tiny part of Denmark"
That was difficult, how would you explain that... Greenland is in a sort of commonworld with Denmark, sharing coins and queen. Othervise they are more like you and your native american, exept they live on an island far away... nothing to be proud of for the last decades
But the change in temps have been strange

Against stupidity the gods themselves struggle in vain.

Fresh and pretty...in October! I'm amazed at how many are still have going strong here
in my zone 5 garden. The prediction is for a killing freeze Thursday morning.
I'll hate to see them go, though this year the hostas came up 3 weeks early and have
lasted at least a couple of weeks longer than most years.

Beautiful pictures!! I don't have much green left in my gardens. Lots of pretty yellows, golds and shades of orange as everything is shutting down for the season.
Like LindaP, I am expecting our first real freeze later this week. Today we have winds whipping around like crazy, what doesn't get blown away today will get frosted off on Thursday night.
