Hi there,
Anyone heard anything about where to ship for the Skaggs benefit auction? I emailed Jeff but haven't heard back yet. The double bloodroot is coming up quickly and I hate to refrigerate a division to keep it dormant for transplant, but looks like that's what I'll have to do. Or does anyone know the person who won the double bloodroot?
Hostas aren't an issue, as they can be shipped later, even if they are sprouted, but these are a little different.
Thanks.
Chris
Anyone heard from Jeff Miller yet about the Skaggs auction?

I have not yet heard from the donor of the plant I won.
Jeff may be in over his head. The people running the other auctions have been at it for years but this was his first one.

Have you tried phoning him? His number is on the Land of the Giants website, I believe. Otherwise, drop me a private message (it's in our hosta society member directory.)
Jeff and Penny were both at the WI Hosta Society meeting this past Thursday. So maybe it is just that they're completely swamped.

My understanding is that once everyone has paid for what they won,
then the buyer will be notified by the donator. I received an email
from Carol Brashear a couple of days ago that my check had been
received. I believe she's handling that part of the auction.

Re: Anyone heard from Jeff Miller yet about the Skaggs aucti
this is two posts that were on hosta pix concerning the auction they were posted on 4-14-11
I'm sure that Jeff will hear about the bloodroot problem and will be getting in touch with Chris on the winner of this auction
but I think Carol is taking care of sending out the notices and has explained in the post when everything is suppose to be taken care of
I copied the posts from hosta pix and the posts are below

Hello Pixters,
If anyone can help with a current Email address for Lucygoose?
She was a winner in the Skaggs benefit auction and the Email I have for her
was returned to me as undeliverable.
Thanks for any help!

Re: [hostapix] Help with Email address
Hi Bevie and All,
We are just waiting for the last few winners to settle up their payments and we will begin to send out the donor notices. So you haven't missed anything.
We are hoping to start that in another week.
If anyone needs an invoice of their winnings so we can wrap up the bookkeeping and get the money off to the Skaggs, please Email me privately so I can make up an invoice for you.
Thanks everyone who played a part in the Skaggs auction! Donors , bidders, winners, and cash donations all combined to now total more than $20,000.00 for these wonderful friends of ours. As soon as we can get all the work finished we hope to have a final report to everyone in some form or fashion.
Again , thank you to everyone!
Amanda, that is the Email I have for her and it came back to me.
If anyone is a member of the Hallson forum, would you ask over there for me?
Thanks!
