Shipped mine yesterday. Of course I forgot to put the tag in with the plant and had to tape it on the outside. I don't ship many plants - it's a learning process.

I came home from work yesterday to find a box at my front door!! I received Lemon Delight (I got rid of mine last year b/c it has nems-so glad I have it again!), Swoosh (love, love, love streakers!!), Pearl Lake (tons of eyes and a beautiful plant), and Dragon Eyes (gorgeous red petioles--looks like it's gonna get big too--love it! My 11 year old son likes it too!). They were perfectly packaged and the roots are HUGE!! Thank you so much morgansrgr8--I am just thrilled with all of them! What a great way to start my weekend!! Mine will be going out Monday....somewhere...

Thanks also to Brian for coordinating the trade for everyone!!

And Chris--thank you for giving us the forum to do it in!!

Have a great weekend everyone--I'm gonna bathe in some Deep Woods Off and walk around my garden to find the perfect place for my new babies!!

I'm glad you like your package Jenna. Your wish list said large hosta and when I saw Dragon Eyes it was large and has those beautiful petiols. The rest came from my garden. Hope they do as well for you as they are for me. Pearl Lake is huge for me this year. Enjoy

Whew! Finally, dance recital weekend over!! I even had to share the stage with 2 of my daughter for a father-daughter dance.

I received my trade late on Friday and finally had a chance to get it open and planted!!

I received 4 wonderful hosta from redcrx (Ed) just beautiful.

He sent a large division of Gypsy Rose. She'll make a great compliment to Striptease and Kiwi Full Monty which I love.

Ed must have been psychic with the next as it was Tropical Dancer. It is a wonderful sport of Spring Fling and other of my favorite hosta and it will really remind me of this Dance Recital weekend!

Totally Twisted with its wavy leave and red petioles will be exciting to watch.

Candy Dish! Wow, pie crust edges with the shiny leaves. Beautiful!

All have been planted around the pond bed and look right at home. Thanks so much Ed.

I'll try to control my excitement by just saying, "Yay!" I came home today to find a box full of beautiful hostas from Mjjones453! Thank you so much! I received:

So Sweet
Floradora
Allen P McConnel
Hadspen Samphire
Lemon Delight

I think I could learn something from you (Mary) about packing hostas! They arrived in perfect shape and they are all in pots waiting for the weekend to be planted in the perfect place.

Thanks again Mjjones453, and thanks to you grdnnkd for organizing this trade! Now I have to go update my hosta list :D

Hubby handed me a box when I got home late last nite. WOOHOOO Christmas in June. I love opening packages I know have hosta surprise in them. Scootersbear sent Twist of Lime (used to have it and glad to have it back) Torchlight (beautiful red petiols) and one labled as Showtime but looks to be a double of Torchlight. Now to pick the best spot for them. Any suggestions.

Linda it's raining here so I'll go out in the garden tommorow and figure it out for you, more than likely it was a hosta next to showtime
