Pics resizing

Post by thy »

I know Chris, but not all hosta members go to the garden bench

You all know i am lazy.
Years ago I posted pics, now it is down to one or at lest a few every year, several reasons, but one of them is
.... I miss my old programe :(

So help me please, I know you love pics, so......
In my old oneI took a pic, told it to resize ( had to set the numbers the first time), then pressed enter and them save as, nothing more was needed, darn easy and fast

I want something similar - may even resize more pics every time.

I do not care if it is free or need a few bucks, but it have to be good and easy :D :D :D

Lots of options already, but this is a very good one that does cropping, image editing, and resizing:

Pia, I am not sure what platform your computer runs on, but if you use windows, you can size on your computer and it is easy. Let me know if you want more info and instruction.

I do, Ginger! I wanted to post pics of my HVX Gilt by Association, but didn't know how to do it.

Do give Picnik a try before you give up (link above). It's extremely simple. :)

I use Photobucket - but then just insert the code and they show up and I don't have to resize them at all... am I doing something wrong?!

OK Pia, to resize using windows, you must have your pictures stored on your computer. Then open the picture you want resized, right click your mouse and when the window opens select "edit". The picture will open up in true size. Then go to the top of the tool bar and select "image" then "Stretch/Skew" In the stretch box only select 10 or 20 % (reduces the size to 10 or 20 % of original) for both horizontal and vertical then click OK. You can check the new size by right clicking again and choosing edit, image and then choosing "attributes" and it will show the file size. You can make it smaller or bigger, depending on what you need. Save the new sized picture to your computer.

Hope this helps!
