Hosta of the day -'Tick Tock' - post your pics
Today's hosta is 'Tick Tock'. This small hosta is a sport of 'Gold Drop' and I've found it to be a fast grower. Mine was new in August 2006 and has been divided twice when I wanted some divisions for a plant sale. This past spring, I planted what was left in 3 groups and it looks nearly as full as it was before. As you can see, it's a prolific bloomer.

This is one I don't have. Naylor Creek had some very nice ones at the Midwest convention, but I did not
come home with one.

We got our Tick Tock late in 2009. It has held up to our 108 degree temps amazingly well!

It's been an enthusiastic grower in my garden.

Man, I just LOVE this cutie. Received mine in trade in 2010 and look forward every year to seeing not just how well it has grown but also how many scapes it puts up. As you see in this July 7th shot it is rather floriferous and for the smallish size of the clump the floral display just towers over it. Have not seen any pods on it yet, and I have seen no information with respect to its fertility.
