Hosta of the day -'Sweet Innocence' - post your pics
The daily hosta is 'Sweet Innocence'. Mine was added to my garden in 2007 but languished in a corner that was too dark for a couple of years. Doing better now and is presently blooming with a lovely fragrance. This is a tetraploid sport of 'Fragrant Bouquet'. How many of you have it too?

I'll see if I can get pics of the bloom this afternoon.

I planted this last year. I like the apple green color.

Name: H. 'Sweet Innocence'
Description: Thick, light green leaves surrounded by a luscious, wide, creamy border that are resistant to burning.
Size: Small-Medium. 2' wide clump
Origin: tetraploid version of H. 'Fragrant Bouquet' (H. Hansen 04)
Flowers: 2' spikes of very fragrant, large lavender flowers in late summer
Source: Hosta Choice
Added to garden: Spring 2007
Notes: So much for being an "improved" 'Fragrant Bouquet'. At least FB grows for me. I had this in my garden for 6 years and it still had only 5 eyes and was nothing much to look at. This year I dug it, divided it, and the plant is to get rid of it in the spring. The picture shows it after dividing where it looks better than it ever did in my garden.

Second year. We moved it early this spring where it gets a lot more sun light. I love how this one looks in September!
Re: Hosta of the day -'Sweet Innocence' - post your pics
Yours is bigger in its second year than mine was after 5.

2014 - I sent a lot of this out to plant sales, but the biggest division is still at the back of my veggie garden and appears happier than it ever did in the front garden. Picture July 27.

2015 - July 03. This was still at the back of my veggie garden. Once again I divided it for plant sales, but I still kept one division. I still hope I'll find a spot in the garden where it likes to grow.
