That one looks great. I think this is one that people either love or hate, since in some gardens it can suffer from spring burn that makes it look pretty bad. But when grown well it is fantastic

It is one of my newer favorites, fast growing, great coloration and lovely ripples.

It do change it's color a lot depending the amount of sun it gets, here up north I prefere the vibrant color it gets in the sun. No spring burn here, but it is part of the fun with hostas, you have to put it in the amount of sun you and the hosta like

Mine had a set-back in 2012. It was badly affected by late frost after a very early spring and lost quite a few leaves.

I am going to have to get one. That is one awesome hosta. Just love the ruffles and the margin just sets off the whole plant. Anybody want to trade. LOL

2014 - this is the 5th year for 'Emerald Ruff Cut' in my garden and I FINALLY have a second eye. The plant is looking good, but it won't win any prizes for being fast growing.

Mine is about the same age, Ann..and hasn't been very fast growing. It still desiccates every year for me, but I've gotten over that...doesn't seem as disfiguring as it was when it was younger. Excuse the sheen from being recently watered. The leaves have a more upright, mature look this year.

This one is also fertile and can pass along those rippled edges. I've got a couple of seedlings I'm watching.

This one from 2014 is a nice gold.

And this one from 2016 is green but still has ruffled edges.
