Hostas in Japan
This month Finegardening has an interview with a well known Nursery owner who was visisting plantsman in Japan .A local collector took him to a small Hosta breeder in a mountainous area (isolated) when the owner showed the Japanese collector a new plant he came up with the collector bought it immediately for 3500.00.
