Notice anything different?

Post by mooie »

My senior cat, Gassie, was put to rest about two weeks ago. I was in search of just the right hosta to plant where I buried her. I came across this unusual Eternal Flame at the local nursery and purchased it immediately, knowing that it was perfect for my unusual cat. Of course they all looked at me quite strangely for buying such an odd hosta, but as hosta collectors know, we really, really like the unusual. My girl deserved a unique plant because she herself was quite unique. I had her for 16 years and she gave me the best of her life right up til the end. My best bud, and I miss her terribly.

How a-propos! Indeed, her memory deserves something special....

So sorry to hear

Weird hosta, may fit for a unusual cat

I love the idea of getting a unique plant to remind you of your unique cat.

Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss!
When I moved 5 yrs ago I had almost 40yrs of dogs buried in the yard and all had a memorial plant on their place in the yard. Those special plants came with me in the move. I wet so far as to move a 6'x6' Oakleaf Hydrangea.
They will always be special plants and fond memories.
